We add whole kalamata olives to the thick crusted, spongy texture of the allegro levain to create a bread that combines well with the hummus, Divina roasted tomatoes or the saltier cheeses (feta, pecorino, parmesan) available for sale in the bakery. Forget the English muffin and try a personal pizza on a thick slice of this bread.
